OUR STORY
The story of Live Alkaline Water is one for the history books. Protected and preserved for over four hundred years, the families indigenous to the mountains of North Carolina understood and cherished the living water beneath their feet. 800 feet beneath to be exact.
Generations of careful stewardship ensured that what lay beneath the soil remained untouched. Passed down through family lines, the land nestled in the hills north of North Carolina was protected by its stewards to prevent being exploited and instead. cherished as a living inheritance to be honored, safeguarded, and shared responsibly.
The water of Tamare Farms, named “Live Alkaline Water,” springs from more than 800 feet below the earth’s surface, beneath layers of mineral-rich rock–an ancient aquifer. Naturally alkaline, Live Alkaline flows through mineral rock beds deep underground, absorbing 108 organic minerals, including calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Its naturally balanced pH works in harmony with the body, supporting restoration.
Robert McRae grew up knowing this land intimately—the weight of responsibility, and the quiet power flowing beneath their family’s land. When he learned that the water from his family’s spring could be bottled and shared with others, he approached the opportunity with reverence. To the McRae family, this was not about selling water. It was about honoring and sharing a sacred legacy more than four centuries in the making.

Live Alkaline Water is a Black Owned, All Natural, 100 percent chemical FREE, H320, sourced from an aquifer with springs that sits above a mineral rock bed. The water contains a natural PH Balance of 7.4-8.2 and has an alkalinity of 8.0. Live Alkaline Water also has over 108 minerals the body needs. Bradford Simmons, also known as Bro. King, is a visionary community builder, educator, and entrepreneur committed to cultural empowerment, wellness, and generational impact. He leads marketing, distribution, and sales for Live Alkaline Water.
Brad connected with Chief McRae in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, when he found himself on a personal quest for healthy, sustainable solutions. That journey ultimately led him to Tamare Farms—the home of Live Alkaline Water. Inspired by the brand’s ancestral land, purity, and mission, Brad became a distributor and brand ambassador, and later a shareholder—aligning his lifelong commitment to community health with access to clean, mineral-rich water.
Raised in North Carolina within a close-knit, village-oriented family, Brad was deeply influenced by his grandfather’s example of leadership and service. That foundation inspired him to co-found S.O.U.L. Society and Heavy Energy with Terence Walker. Together, they have created educational initiatives ranging from arts and financial literacy workshops to lectures and interviews with influential voices in culture, activism, and thought leadership. S.O.U.L. programs, workshops, and community events span across North Carolina in partnership with schools, universities, and cultural institutions.

Robert McRae, known as Chief, is the Chief Executive Officer of Live Alkaline Water, a family-owned natural spring water company rooted in legacy, stewardship, and community wellness. Chief comes from an indigenous lineage spanning more than 150 years, grounded in sacred stewardship of the land and a responsibility to provide for others. At just 24 years old, he was entrusted with the care of his family’s ancestral land, a responsibility that initially felt overwhelming but ultimately shaped his purpose and leadership
Through honor, perseverance, and unwavering commitment, Chief stepped fully into his birthright, transforming inherited responsibility into a modern vision for collective health. That journey led to the founding of Live Alkaline Water, a naturally alkaline, mineral-rich, chemical-free spring water brand that has quickly emerged as a respected presence in the bottled water industry.
Terence Walker – Chief Community Officer
Terence Walker, also known as T. Walker, serves as Chief Community Officer at Live Alkaline Water. An artist, educator, and curator, Walker is the co-founder of Heavy Energy alongside Bro. King, a creative platform rooted in utilizing art as a tool for social change, storytelling, and collective healing. T. Walker’s career spans music, poetry, visual art, and national touring, alongside academic and cultural institutions that explore justice, spirituality, and community empowerment.
As Chief Community Officer, T. Walker brings his commitment to intentional living, health equity, and grassroots leadership to help steward Live Alkaline Water as not just a product, but a movement grounded in purpose, people, and collective well-being.
